247-GP provides a private GP telephone consultation service offering clients quick and easy access to advice, reassurance, diagnosis and treatment options. Many people's health concerns can be effectively managed with an in-depth telephone consultation with our Doctor's without the need for further referral.
Terms
247 GP will provide
- 24 hour fast and convenient access to private GP telephone consultations
- Unlimited access to the 247 GP advice service
- Diagnosis, advice and reassurance regarding client concerns via qualified and practising GP's
- A diagnosis over the telephone, wherever possible, and a suggested appropriate course of action
- Consultations can be as long or as short as appropriate
- All advice is specific to the individual caller taking into account his or her own personal medical history.
- All the associates of 247 GP are bound by their professional codes of practice
- Every client of 247 GP is encouraged to remain registered with an NHS general practitioner
247 GP will give you advice on how to access local medical provision within the UK but we will not be responsible for arranging an appointment with another Doctor, nor are we responsible for the actions of that doctor or other third party healthcare worker. If you have an emergency medical problem then you must access your local emergency medical services.
No promises are made or given or intended by the advice given by 247 GP and no information, advice or diagnosis made by 247 GP shall be deemed the only or best possible at that time with respect to the matter in question.
Conditions
Services to a client will be terminated without reimbursement of fees if the client behaves in such a way that is deemed rude or aggressive to Doctors or staff, non payment of agreed fees; any attempted abuse of the system or allowing others to use 247 GP in the client's name.
Once a client you agree not to use 247 GP :
(i) In a way that is prohibited by any law or regulation
(ii) To invade the privacy of third parties
(iii) To transmit unlawful, fraudulent, offensive, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or otherwise objectionable material, or
(iv) To encourage conduct that would give rise to civil or criminal liability; not to violate, or assist in violating, the security of 247 GP, whether intentionally, negligently or otherwise.
Client Renewal
The term of this agreement shall be for a period of 1 year. The Agreement will be renewed automatically for 1-year periods. Either party may notify the other party of its intention not to renew by giving written notice.
Privacy Statement
Any medical information provided to us is bound by medical patient confidentiality agreements and Data Protection protocols.
Complaints Procedure
If you have a complaint about the services from 247 GP, please contact us by phone, e-mail or writing stating, the date the problem occurred and which 247 GP client of staff was involved.
