What is 247GP

Very simply, 247GP is the provision of a Telephone consultancy to a Doctor, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Members pay a very low annual fee, which allows them to contact the Doctor Consultation line as many times as they need to, throughout the year, at whatever time suits them.

The process is that the member telephones a special number, this is answered by a Para medically trained operator who will arrange for a GP to return your call at a convenient time to yourself.

Our Doctors are all practising GPs who have been specially trained for telephone consultation, with a sympathetic approach, clear communication and the time to advise you over your concerns. Allowing you to talk for as long as is necessary and provide you with recommendations of how you are able to proceed in the either the treatment of your concern or allay your fears.
